PART 2: I put a laxative in my husband’s coffee before he left to see his mistress…

I made my way to the stairs, the same stairs where earlier he had stormed up in a frantic attempt to find relief. But as I reached the top, I noticed something strange. The bathroom door was wide open. And the smell… it was unlike anything I had ever encountered.

I walked cautiously toward the open door, my heart pounding in my chest. Inside, I found something that made my blood run cold.

Steve was lying on the floor, his face contorted in pain, his hand clutching his stomach. But what really caught my attention was the puddle of dark liquid spreading beneath him.

“Oh my God,” I whispered, stepping back in shock.

I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. The same man who had treated me with such disregard was now sprawled on the bathroom floor, unable to move, completely at the mercy of his own body. I felt a strange mix of satisfaction and horror as I stared at him. This wasn’t what I had imagined.

I rushed to his side, my hands trembling as I tried to help him, but the reality of what I had done hit me hard. What was I supposed to do now? I had crossed a line. The joke I thought was funny had turned into something far more serious.

I grabbed my phone, trying to think clearly, but my mind was racing. What if something happened to him? What if I went too far?

I dialed the number of the only person I could trust—Emma. She picked up on the first ring.

“Hello?” she asked, her voice still thick with laughter from the bar.

“It’s bad,” I said, my voice shaky. “I think I made a huge mistake.”

The rest of the night was a blur of confusion and panic. By the time the paramedics arrived, Steve had passed out from the pain, his body betraying him in ways I never thought possible. As they loaded him into the ambulance, I stood there, a helpless spectator to my own actions.

And as I watched the lights of the ambulance fade into the distance, I realized that the game I had started was far from over. In fact, it was only just beginning.
